I am a passionate "40-something'"  National Board Certified Health & Wellness Coach (NBC-HWC) and Functional Nutrition Counselor. I have over 24 years helping individuals achieve their health & wellness goals by any means necessary!

And yes the "DR" in front of my name is legit. I have my doctorate in Health Psychology (the study of health behavior change). I focused my studies on weight-loss struggles in women.

In more recent years, life events such as an autoimmune diagnosis that causes my body to attack my eyes and my joints, a collapsed spine that led to two spinal fusions within 1 year, the sudden passing of my father, and weight gain that did not come off with the strategies I used from my 10+ years of being a kick-ass fitness bootcamp instructor...(take a breath)... led to my desire to learn more about how to make the weight and fat loss process less stressful and confusing. 

This led to my obtaining training to become a Functional Nutrition Counselor. I have focused my attention on using nutrition, exercise, and mindset strategies to help the fed up and frustrated navigate this journey called weight/fat loss but,

STEP #1: Assess Your Bio-Individuality

We will identify YOUR root cause physiological reason your body is hoarding fat. If you don't treat the root, how can you prevent the weight from coming back again. 

During a review of your health history and our 1:1 Intake Call I will also identify potential areas you may be overlooking that are sabotaging your progress and this includes food that you may have deemed are healthy, but actually not healthy for YOUR body.

STEP #2: Develop a Personal Fat Loss Care Plan that Honors Your Bio-Individuality

Customizing a program to honor your chemical uniqueness is CRUCIAL. This is what is missing from pretty much all trendy cookie-cutter diets.

We will take the information from step 1 to create a Personal Fat Loss plan which includes:

1. A Healing Meal Plan which will include recipes in a day by day order to target your root causes (digestive, hormonal, or inflammatory, imbalances).

2. A list of YOUR Power foods for healing and increasing fat burn.  If you have multiple issues impeding your weight/fat loss, you will receive additional power foods lists.

3. Alternative modalities plan for the use of essential oils, herbs, massage, dry skin brushing, and others specific to YOUR root cause issue so we can ignite fat burn.

STEP #3: Implement Your Personal Fat Loss Plan

On your mark. Get set. Go! I will be with you every step the way to guide, support, & hold you accountable. There is also an online, non-judgemental community in our own private app (gender specific) for additional support. 

During this step I will be in touch with you anywhere from 1-3X per week depending on your plan.  

You will have a day to day guide with instructional videos to help you stay on track and in tune with how your body is responding.

STEP #4: Recalibrate And Course Correct 

Just like any new strategy you implement, you must continuosly monitor, assess, and course correct if you want to stay on track. 

Another key step missing from the traditional and trendy diet and weight-loss plans.

Just like a top tier coach in the NFL, I will make adjustments as needed to your healing prescription, add & remove foods , and fine tune your plan to heal/support additional root cause issues that arise.

STEP #5:  Reintroduce & Reassess

This key step allows you to begin learning how to live your life applying the new REV ME UP principles without fearing food and confident in your ability to create your own meal plan or choose a meal at a party, or on vacation.

You will learn & practice how to responsibly reintroduce foods we removed and support your body in countering the ill effects of short-lived indulgences when you splurge.

STEP #6: Plan for The Future

In the final step of the REV ME UP Fat Loss System we create a Next Steps Strategy to support you in continuing along your journey to become your healthiest self, with a body you are happy with NAKED! 

The Rev Me Up System is grounded in SCIENTIFIC FACT, but executed using a FUNCTIONAL MEDICINE APPROACH.

All programs include an optional 2-week cushion to allow for unexpected life setbacks but to still uphold the priority that must be given to one's health when you are truly serious about making achievable and sustainable changes to your health. Dr. Rox is a Nationally Board Certified Health & Wellness Coach (NBC-HWC)  with a National Provider ID number so depending on your coverage, the health coaching sessions offered in this program could be reimbursable through your health insurance company. This means you could $200-$500 or more back based on the program you choose!

The approved code for this service is 0591T. Ask how many follow-up coaching sessions under code 0592T are covered. THEN, ask what your reimbursement rate would be for each of these services and obtain the necessary information that would need to be submitted.
